How to get to Pushchino?

Moscow is easy to reach by plane at the various airports. 
When booked well in advance prices for a return flight ticket are about 300EURO.

Here you find some instructions for those that which to make their own way from the airport to Pushchino.

In order to facilitate transport to the hotel/venue in Pushchino, shuttle busses and/or taxis will be arranged on Sunday evening and Monday morning, as well as on Thursday evening and Friday morning to transport participants back to Moscow.
Shuttle busses will either pick you up from the airports you are arriving at. Alternatively, for those arriving early for siteseeing in the weekend, the shuttle bus will pick you up at a central bus/metro station (Annino metro station on the grey line; will be confirmed in due time).
Upon arrival you will be welcomed by one of the organisors or colleagues from ITEB RAS to assist you with your onwards travel to Pushchino. 
More details on the shuttles and specific timing will be communicate closer to the meeting.

In case you like to join the shuttle busses, please indicate so on your hotel booking forms or send an Email to icawmeetings@gmail.com (in case you plan to stay in another accommodation but still want to join the shuttle).

For those who which to make their own way to Pushchino, there are possibilities to use regular busses from Moscow to Pushchino. Last departure of this bus is at 22.00h. Time of trip 1h 15min. The price of ticket is 235 rub (about 3-4 euro).

 

Travel visa

In order to apply for a visa, invitation letters are required (example). The letters will be prepared by ITEB RAS for all people who will be participating in ICAW 2019. So please register and inform the organisors in time.

For participants within Europe, who need an invitation letter, have to provide the following information.

Please send the information for the invitation letter to Nikolay and Tatiana directly. 

We would advise to get business or humanitarian visas if the participants will travel alone and will visit only the conference. If the participants wish to travel with accompanying persons or wish to go sightseeing before or after the conference, or want some freedom to buy tickets, than they should apply for the touristic visas. Accompanying persons should get their own touristic visas.
In any case, it is best to clarify the details in your local Russian embassies.

Only be provided to the citizens of the Member States of the European Union who have signed this agreement (Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic and Sweden) and also the citizens of Iceland, Norway and Switzerland can apply for a business visa using the invitation letter for their travel to Russia.
